Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Fitrivo mobile application, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

• Account Data: Name, phone number, email address (for HR and administrators), and country/pincode.
• Profile Data: Gender, Date of Birth (DOB).
• Physical Attributes: Height and weight (to calculate health metrics like BMI and calorie burn).
• Professional Data: For corporate users, we associate your profile with your respective organization.

1.2 Health and Activity Data

We collect data related to your physical activities to power our gamification engine:

• Activity Metrics: Steps taken, distance covered (walking, running, cycling), calories burned, elevation gain, and speed.
• Fitness Objectives: Your self-selected goals (e.g., lose weight, gain muscle, increase fitness).
• Workout Frequency: Information about your regular workout habits.
• Mind Gym Data: Cognitive game scores, accuracy, and completion times.

1.3 Location & Background Location Data

Fitrivo collects location data to enable fitness activity tracking (walking, running, cycling) and virtual territory capture even when the app is closed or not in use.

• Foreground GPS Tracking: When you have the app open, we collect precise location data to record your activity routes and calculate your progress.
• Background Location Tracking: To provide continuous tracking and accurate distance measurements, we collect location data in the background during active fitness activity sessions, including when the app is minimized, closed, or the device screen is locked.
• Purpose of Background Location: Background location is used only to record your selected fitness activity, calculate distance, route, speed, calories, and virtual territory progress, and keep your activity session running until you stop or end it.
• User Control: You can disable background location permissions through your device settings, but some fitness tracking and territory capture features may not work correctly without this permission.

2. Health Data Declaration & Integrations

Fitrivo integrates with third-party health platforms like Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect to sync activity data. This data is used solely to update your progress and calculate virtual territory. We do not use health data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for gamification, providing personalized insights, corporate wellness reporting for HR, platform improvement, and communication via push notifications.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

If you are part of a corporate group, your HR administrators can view your participation status and aggregated activity metrics. Your name and territory color may be visible on global leaderboards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information, health data, and activity records only for as long as necessary to provide our services. Inactive accounts for 2 years will be automatically anonymized or deleted.
